Catherine Cowell
Catherine is passionate about enabling people to reach their potential. To this end, she works with individuals, leaders and organisations and spends quite a lot of time having coffee with people, helping them to find their own compelling solutions. A professional leadership and personal performance coach and also creates and runs workshops and trains up new course facilitators.
Catherine is co-author with Sean Kennedy of Church uncorked: Leadership that Releases our Potential; Loved Called Gifted: A Practical Guide to Unlocking your Life’s Calling and Mustard Seed Stories.
Catherine’s leadership experience comes from both the NHS, where she was a speech and language therapist and managed a department, and the church. She was leader of Church Without Walls, where she used her coaching style of leadership - finding God given potential in everyone.
She is adoptive mother to two wonderful boys.
Rachel Kochany
Rachel has trained with the Coaching Academy and uses her experience to coach clients in both Personal Performance, and Corporate and Executive contexts - enabling clients to successfully navigate Change and Conflict, Leadership and Career Progression. She has trained with John Lees in Career Coaching, Nancy Kline and ‘Time to Think’ colleagues in the Thinking environment, and in facilitating more effective group and meeting sessions. She particularly excels and enjoys coaching around purpose and identity, and loves working with people in a way which helps them realign their lives around their deeper values and drivers. To see people fulfilled and satisfied in what they do and how they orientate their lives is one of her greatest pleasures.
Rachel supports a Forum for Leaders of Charities and Social Enterprises in London and chairs a Forum in Manchester where she lives. She is skilled in facilitating groups of leaders to share in a peer and group coaching context, believing that the wisdom of the group can be greater; that learning together in a shared environment can be incredibly motivating, and results in leaders’ potential being released in a more powerful way to the benefit of their organisations.
Rachel has most recently worked as an internal coach at the British Council where she worked for over 20 years in the UK and Poland. Her work as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, Solution Consultant, and SAP Business Process Lead has given her invaluable experience in managing teams across multiple countries; spearheading and delivering Technical Projects and SAP implementations in numerous locations; acting as a bridge between Business and Technical colleagues; enabling internal and external partners with differing priorities to collaborate successfully around a common aim.
She enjoys walking in the countryside, visiting art galleries, listening to music - preferably at live concerts, and is refreshed by space and light.
