What is the Refuel Network?
Refuel is a not for profit training and coaching initiative started by two independent professional Coaches based in North Staffordshire. The Refuel Network is an umbrella website for likeminded coaches with similar aims and objectives. Each coach has their own business and cooperate, sharing information and materials, and run workshops together.
Our calling is "To prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ" (Eph 4 vs 12,13). We develop individuals and leaders and help them move closer to the core of their calling. Our desire is to, 'spur one another on toward love and good deeds,' (Hebrews 10 vs 24). We want to refresh an refuel people on their journey.
Refuel was originally an initiative started Church Without Walls (Hanley)

Catherine grew up in the South of England. With a deep heart and respect for people she has a wonderful way of bringing clarity and fresh perspectives to situations. She is the leader of ‘Church Without Walls’ and has been the spark of inspiration behind a number of innovative projects in Stoke-on-Trent such as the ‘Nightchurch’, mission to night clubbers. She has a special interest in communication. She has worked as a speech and language therapist in the NHS and was a departmental manager before starting her own private practice.
Sean originates from Northern Ireland. He trained in counselling and personality profiling before moving into coaching and personal development. An encourager at heart he is passionate about releasing people’s hidden and often underrated potential. He began his working life as an engineer working in the National Health Service, industry and education. Sean is married to Helen and is interested in science and comedy — even performing his 10-minute set at two shows at the Edinburgh Fringe! A touch out of his depth he decided that he was a much better coach than comic.
Sean and Catherine Cowell coach individuals and leaders and run ‘Loved, Called, Gifted’ and ‘Leadership that Releases’ and personality profiling courses. They work with individuals, churches, charities and small businesses. To contact us click here
Values
We are committed to:
1. Actively listen and encourage.
2. Be Christ centred, Spirit filled and prayerful about all interactions with clients and to be informed by the Bible.
3. Use a non-directive, facilitative approach, freeing the client to be their own true self, made in the image of God.
4. Not impose our own personal values or theology upon clients.
5. Maintain confidentiality (within its legal limitations).
6. Refer clients to other more suitable professionals if someone else is better equipped to help.
7. Break down barriers that limit love, communication, understanding and community. Whilst we reserve the right to decide who are the right people to work with, we will not exclude anyone on the basis of their race, gender, sexual orientation, denomination, etc.
Fees
We are passionate about making our workshops, coaching and development services available at an affordable price. We often work on a non-profit basis. We do at a fraction of the cost what businesses pay many thousands of pounds for - without compromising our professional standards or quality. We need to eat and pay our bills so we ask that everyone invests something. The more you can invest the easier it will be for us to work with those with the least resources so they too can benefit after you. If money is an issue we may still be able to assist.
The Refuel Network is an umbrella website for likeminded coaches with similar aims and objectives. Each coach has their own company and invoice clients from it. Where they cooperate for any joint work such as a workshop they will each bill clients separately.
